COF Map

You can inspect the calculated consequence of failure values for their pipe system from the map view by clicking on COF -> 'Map' from the main navigation.

Within the main navigation pane, click on COF -> 'Map' to see the pipe network illustrated by

Map Controls

The Map Controls can be accessed from the dropdown menu located on the top right of the screen. Here you can define your Data Display, Toggle COF geospatial components and filter by Rank, Year, Material and Diameter.

The layers of Geospatial components relevant to COF analysis can be toggled on and off to gain a better understanding of the relationship and relative location between the pipe segments and geospatial drivers.

Data display options

To focus in on a specific layer view, use the dropdown menu on the bottom right side of the screen. These views include:

• COF

• Install Year

• Material

• Diameter

Map filters options

Just like in the LoF view, various Filters can select certain portions of the dataset allowing for more complex analysis or to highlight certain regions of the pipe network. Access the Filter pane by clicking on the "Filters" button located on the top right portion of the map.

The first filter includes various levels of the COF costs. The costs are divided into COF, Material, and Diameter.

The COF filter toggles portions of the pipe network based on how high they rank within the costs. Costs are divided into Very High, High, Medium High, Medium Low, and Low, where each buckets represent 20% in accumulated pipe length.

The Pipes can be filtered by material type. For example, the image below shows COF pipes filtered by Steel pipes.

Finally, the COF results can be viewed while filtering the pipes by diameter.

Map Zoom - Viewing Pipe Segment Details

You can zoom into specific map areas using the + and - controls located at the bottom left side of the screen or by using your mouse's scroll wheel.

Once zoomed in, you can click on an individual pipe segment to see the COF details, which will appear on the left side of the screen. COF details include:

• Total COF Cost

• Direct Cost

• Indirect Cost

COF Infrastructure

Fracta has updated its database to incorporate more infrastructure types to further improve cost calculations. To view the COF Infrastructure, toggle on contributing to the COF calculation can be viewed on the map by toggling on the "Critical Facilities" button located on the top right corner of the map.

COF Infrastructure Types include:

• Primary Road

• Trunk Road

• Motor Way

• Railway

• Subway

• Linear Water (rivers and streams)

• Stadium

• Shelter

• Hotel

• Mall

• Hospital

• Police Station

• Fire Station
