COF Report

Consequence of Failure Report

Once you run the analysis for a specific scenario, you will be able to view the report page, which provides an overview of the distribution of the direct and indirect cost associated with pipes in the utility network.

The COF report provides the following main views of the analysis results:

System Distribution of COF

The utility COF distribution provides five categories of COF ranks based on percentile ranks of the total COF cost. General statistical values such as Min, Max, Average and Total COF values are provided for each category.

COF Distribution and COF Averages

The COF Distribution displays the contribution to the total system cost by 10% intervals.

COF Cost averages provides a range based on average costs. The average cost for the top 10% of the most expensive pipes, the average cost of the bottom 50% most expensive pipes, and the overall average cost.

Two ring charts illustrate the Average Direct Cost and Average Indirect Cost based on the highest 10% COF and Average COF.

COF Contributing Factors

The last two breakdowns show which factors contribute the most to pipe repair. This shows exactly if costs pertain mostly based on pipe repair, or if other indirect costs contribute to the costs. The Contributing factors consist of:

  • Direct Repair Cost

  • Property Damage

  • Critical Facilities

  • Traffic Disruption

  • Environmental

  • Customers Without Water

  • Custom Item(s)
